i knew most of these but never heard of the prefetch so i tried it, just hope it works and if it does then thank you so much for the exta info i need to help maintian my pc.. oh yea this is my first time on this site and i like it there is so much to learn from people like you thank you

prefetch is not workiing on my OS which is Windows 2000?? wht should i do?

Same thing here on my windows XP.  Get the folder with all the icons...but when I hit alt+A....my fav bookmarks come up!  Did you get anywhere with it?

for windows 2000 i think you don't the prefetch folder it came up with XP

amd you should hit ctrl+a not alt to select all files :)

thanks it really....worked...!..............................and one more thing from me....the software " registry first aid " is a gud software to clean registry and speed up ur pc.........!...hope it will work !...once more thanks 4 ur tips
